My big screw up

Today i was at my friends house for a party and i was talking to his girlfriend and kind of told her i had feelings for her and i think my friend heard us because i told her while he was upstairs and when i told her that i love her and then she told me that she loves me to but during man hunt we hid in a bush and my friend found us making out and now he hates me am i a bad person
